"I’ve know Tina for 10 years now. She was one of my first Pilates teachers when I took up Pilates because of back pain.
What I love about her classes is that she is very hands-on. Her corrections are spot on thanks to her training as a massage therapist which are very helpful if you’re just starting to learn about correct body alignment. Also she is not afraid to work you really hard but without straining the body and she doesn’t let you get away with a bad technique either! Her exercises are very functional and she’s wonderful at explaining the benefits of each exercise and how to incorporate them into your daily life. Her bubbly personality and passion for Pilates and human body shines through when she is teaching.
She has inspired me to become a Pilates teacher as well. I would highly recommend her as a teacher and a therapist."
"Whilst making sure she covers the basics everyone will benefit from, Tina tailors each class to what individual participants most need that day – whether that's a good stretch or a killer abdominal workout! She keeps her classes small enough to make sure everyone is doing the exercises properly, in a safe and beneficial way.
Tina never makes anyone feel left out because they can't physically manage a particular exercise – she's flexible, thinks on her feet and always can suggest a modified or alternative exercise to enable anyone who has an injury, is pregnant or who just isn't feeling great that day to join in.
Tina is a real human being, who doesn't adopt the voice of an automaton to run through a standard set of routine exercises the second she starts teaching. She communicates the whole way through – both collectively with the group and with individuals on a personal basis – to make sure everyone gets as much as possible out of the class. What a breath of fresh air!"
"I can confidently say that over the last 3 years Tina's and Esther's teaching have saved my body from serious mid-50's disrepair. They are both unfailingly supportive, friendly, patient and they know the needs of each individual client. I have more energy, feel less tired and am stronger and more flexible than I was before (long way to go to catch up with the most flexible people!).
I previously suffered from many years of ill health and, before I begun the classes, a partially slipped disc. The illness has not resurfaced and the back pain not reoccurred since I started the weekly beginners class. They are both super knowledgable about the workings of the body and passionate about the benefits Pilates."
"I have found Tina to be a fantastic teacher – clear, friendly and approachable. The classes cater to all levels of ability and provide a useful focus on how to enjoy the benefits of Pilates for day to day postural/muscular challenges, covering everything from achy shoulders after long hours desk-bound to stretches for runners and mums to be. I walk away from Tina’s class feeling refreshed and energised – a great way to spend a lunch hour!"
"For the last 4 years once a week my kitchen becomes a Pilates studio, Tina teaches myself and three friends.
We love our sessions, Tina has lots of techniques for whatever we need, and can adapt to different strengths and abilities within our class. The passes quickly, I always feel better and when I miss a week I really notice it."
"I have found Pilates has really helped to improve my posture and to teach me techniques for how to relieve tight shoulders and neck which everyone who is desk based can suffer from.
As a qualified sports massage therapist she is great at explaining the benefits of the exercises she gets us to do and is always focused on making sure we adopt the correct technique.
The classes are fun, effective and varied – definitely a friendly environment and we generally see a good mixture of males and females."
"Tina runs a great weekly Pilates class at our office that I've been going to for the last three years. As pretty much the only guy it would be easy to feel pretty awkward but Tina is relentlessly cheery, the vibe is always welcoming and I've ended up making friends in the building that I wouldn't have otherwise.
Her classes focus more on good posture and effective form than plain old sweaty aerobic fitness and are all the better for it in my opinion. She takes an interest in each student's body issues and goals and is careful to tailor each class according to whoever's showed up on the night.
As part of her commitment to overall health, Tina is also a very effective masseuse (capable of putting a lot more weight in than you'd credit for her size!), which builds on the understanding of your physiology she gains from the class to really deal with your aches and pains. I have a recurrent back issue and between the class and the massages she's really helped me get a handle on it and prevent any more flare ups."
"Tina is an amazing Pilates teacher. I started 1-2-1 sessions with her after I had had abdominal surgery.
I felt very safe during the classes. She really looks at your body as a whole and the exercises were always appropriate for my ability. As I got stronger the exercises became more challenging. Her classes are always fun and educational. I've learned so much about Pilates and my own body and it helped me became more body aware.
I highly recommend Pilates with Tina."

"Tina is an excellent masseuse. She has helped me enormously since she began visiting me on a regular basis. I really look forward to her sessions and know that my body will feel better and work more naturally afterwards.
It can be a little worrying going to a new therapist. But it was clear from the outset that Tina had the training, experience and knowledge to make me feel confident that I was in safe pair of hands."
"I can't think of anyone more devoted to sharing her knowledge for having an amazing birthing experience than Tina! A very special person with a beautiful heart."
"It was like a dream giving such a natural birth to my son. I still can’t believe how fast and in the first stages how painless it all happened. It was the most natural way to give birth to my baby that I could have dreamed of. No drugs, no interruptions by any monitors or anyone. Thank you & Hypnobirthing!"
"Tina is a beautiful woman who helps to inform and empower you so you can approach your birth confidently.
Her course allowed my husband and I a beautiful space to learn, ask questions and get excited about the arrival of our baby without the fear that is so often encouraged in everyday society. My husband felt calm in the knowledge that our decisions were informed and allowed him to confidently support me during the birth.
I delivered our baby without drugs, calmly and confidently despite so much of our birth plan having to be changed at the last minute – I know this would have been an entirely different scenario had we not had Hypnobirthing and Tina for support."
"I've always wanted to get to grips with Pilates but found that something about my technique left me with back or neck pain.
Tina's class was great and things finally clicked for me! She makes little adjustments to your poses to make sure you're doing them correctly and actually explains what you should be doing.
The class worked really well with little ones in tow - if ever they started to get upset Tina was quick to pick them up and carry on the demonstration - child in arms!
I just wish she was still teaching in North London!"
"My friend and I tried Tina's Mother and Baby pilates class in Crouch End when my little one was a few months old. It really helped my back issues and strengthening my non-existent core.
I found it invaluable but also a lovely way to spend an hour with Lola and the other mums and babies. The small class size means you get great teaching, often one-on-one and she tailors everything to the individual. Plus she is amazing with the babies. My only reason for leaving was having another baby and moving to East London."
"I attended Tina's mother and baby pilates classes once per week for about a year, when she ran them in North London. She is an excellent teacher and I felt much stronger then than I ever have. She is really laid back with all the babies around and is very good at tailoring the exercises to the various post-natal circumstances of the group (e.g. gentle where required, more challenging for anyone who is physically ready for it and never forgetting the pelvic floor!). I just wish she still ran the classes in North London as I haven't found any that are quite as good as Tina's."
"As a post birth lactating mum of a four month old baby boy I decided I needed a massage with Tina. It was absolutely divine. All mum’s post birth should have a session with Tina just to reconnect with your body and let go of any tension left over from your birth. I feel like a new woman."
"Before starting with Tina, my son suffered from reflux, frequent gas pains and had a large umbilical hernia caused by his constant straining.
Tina helped show me different massage strokes to help alleviate those issues – fast forward several weeks and I now have a much happier baby – his hernia has almost fully disappeared, he vomits less and hardly ever struggles to poo or fart.
Tina is a talented lady with a lovely soul – she makes you feel very welcome and listens to your needs.
Thank you Tina for helping me have a healthy and happy baby!"
"Having a newborn in your life can sometimes feel daunting, especially if you have a tiny baby like mine. Tina gave me the confidence to touch my little one and feel that I wouldn’t break him! Not only did I learn how to massage my son I also learned a lot more about his behaviour thanks to Tina’s guidance.
He is now 10 weeks old and we both enjoy precious moments throughout our day when I can help him to relax, especially when he is suffering from nasty wind.
Tina is a wonderful teacher, I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to show me the appropriate massage techniques that I now know."
"The pregnancy massage I had with Tina was the best massage I have ever had.
OMG I wish I had of started coming sooner to you!"
"From the moment I laid down for my massage I felt in heaven. After an hour of pure bliss, I felt so relaxed in my muscles and body and so positive mentally as you said a few words of encouragement about my labour that I needed to hear."
"Thank you for your support and education you gave me during my pregnancy through your Pregnancy Wellbeing classes.
When I began I felt quite isolated but now I have a lovely network of friends with babies to share this new stage of life with. I can credit your class to having a wonderful pregnancy as I just felt so fit and healthy and mentally positive. I also felt empowered and informed going into my labour.
Keep up this fantastic and important work you do Tina!"
"Hi Tina, I am writing to say to you thank you for all the time and energy you put into your fantastic Pregnancy Wellbeing classes. This is my second time (pregnancy) coming to your classes and I always feel so positive, relaxed and worked-out afterwards.
I know you have been running these classes a long time but your energy and enthusiasm to help women be more positive in pregnancy and birth just never stops."
"I have enjoyed every moment of your Pregnancy Wellbeing classes.
They are fun, enjoyable and educational all in one!"
Tina is so knowledgeable and really explains what is going on with your muscles during the massage. Her massage really helped relieve the pain in the lower back, eliminate the tension in the glutes and got rid of all the knots in my shoulders. Really strong massage from a kind and very caring person. Will be recommending her to my cyclist friends, my husband, my other mummy friends and anyone who will listen. I wish I had known her when I was breastfeeding and my back was really suffering from being hunched over feeding baby!"
Soon after meeting Tina I developed a painful knee problem which resulted in restricted movement. The GP and physiotherapist detected no injury. I also paid to see a sports therapist but saw no improvement. It wasn’t until I went to Tina for a deep tissue massage that I could walk normally again. I had muscle knots which she recognised and treated and this enabled my recovery. I am most grateful to Tina, for her confident expertise and wealth of knowledge and experience. Thank you Tina!"
She manages to get straight to the (pressure!) point - succeeding in sussing-out and then sorting-out any niggles without any fuss. Tina listens to her client's needs and delivers a tailored and extremely satisfying massage."
